The workmanship is superb, the hand feels very good, the push sound is more relaxed, the tone is wider and brighter than Shure (Shure is lower and lyrical), and the singing voice is more demanding. It seems that you have to practice singing skills before you dare to speak. All in all very satisfied!

I was a bit sketchy due to the fact that this is my first xlr mic. All I know is that I wanted a crisp, clear sound. The noise level isnt too bad, actually its not bad at all at 17db. This is a good mic for the price. Exactly what I needed. Studio quality sound is what I need and thats what I got. Great mic for beginners like myself.

I've never had a microphone like this before. I played around quite a bit with audio when I was younger, overdubbing using a tape recorder and a cheap analog mixer; noise everywhere... Looking to get back into it, I tried using typical PC audio solutions, but they all exhibited too much noise and/or interference. I ended up getting a Behringer UMC204HD for both audio output and input; much better than any PC soundcard I tried. Even with my old dynamic microphone, the UMC204HD was quite a step up. However, when I connected the MPM-1000, I was blown away by the sensitivity and the lack of noise. I am overjoyed with the quality of my recent purchase, particularly considering its price.
