Ordered these at the suggestion of my physical trainer to work out arthritis and acid in the muscles of my foot. These little balls are great quality, solid balls that work amazing for this function. Rolling the muscles against the balls activates the muscles and in my case has done wonders for decreasing the pain I have in my foot due to overworking it.

Another great book is Becoming a Supple Leopard by Kelly Starrett. He uses lacrosse balls for bodywork in many different muscle groups and his book, found on Amazon, is a wonderful primer for body work, functional movement and movement flow. I use these balls for cool down after a workout.

This provides everything my chiropractor suggested for my shoulder stiffness. I am an avid golfer (4 times a week!) and visit my chiropractor quite often to maintain flexibility and agility. He recommended the "peanut" for tight neck and shoulders (never heard of it). When purusing different "peanuts, ran across the" Invincible Fitness" set, with a variety of balls, and it is terrific; the peanut, handheld roller ball (great for stiff/sore forearms), a hard ball for pressure points and a spiked ball which feels great on my arches. This is definitely the best set for the money! Well made.
