I work in construction and weather is very important to my work schedule. I previously had a weather band on my CB radio, but my current one does not. I find the weather band to be particularly useful in getting the forecast each evening for the following day and then double checking each morning. I would say that reception on the radio is acceptable, but by no means outstanding. Also, the speaker on the radio is relatively small and does not get very loud as a result. The radio is, however, quite beneficial to me for my job (including the built-in flashlight). I also appreciate the various ways that the radio can be recharged and can even charge other devices.

I live in California and to remain prepared for a natural disaster (which we regularly seem to have) I replaced on older crank radio with this one. Perfect size, nice sound and, solar charges easily with even minimal light. I like the digital tuning and it is easy to select Weather from AM/FM and I like the fact that it can charge my cell if needed. Great little addition to my emergency kit.

The quality of this product was excellent. I am confident it could help me in an emergency situation. I like that it does so many different things. Having a radio to hear emergencies, a phone charger, a flashlight, and 4 power sources, including solar, is awesome! Having options other than just batteries or a crank handle is great. I like the bright orange trim, making it stand out in a dark room. This is a well thought out device, and I'm glad to have it "just in case" for emergencies.
