FULUX Toy drone

This drone is a low cost way to learn to fly one of these nimble camera platforms. The video and picture quality were better than expected. Its ability to hold a hover in a fixed position is amazing, even as you spin the drone in a constant 360 degree circle. However, it is not as simple to fly as some reviews indicated; avoid flying outside when there is any wind until you master the flight controls. Assume it will take an hour or more to accurately control this aircraft and its flight characteristics. The instructions don't mention it but, when the lights flash, the battery is below 3.7 volts and it's time to land.

I spent a lot of time researching Drone's for my 10 year old son. I didn't have a huge budget given it was for a young kid and was concerned with some of the reviews I saw out there. I settled on this one because of familiarity with the AKASO brand after buying two sports cameras last year. The sports cameras are excellent quality and easy to use so I figured I would give the drone a shot as well. I am happy I did. We have flown it indoors and outdoors, including when there was a little wind. It works great in both conditions and my son was able to control it with ease right out of the box.

Easy to maneuver and control. My 14-year old has now claimed this as his and flies it pretty well with no supervision. Landed on top of the house only once (I think he was trying to do this). We ran it into the side of the house (not at full speed), we've landed it in the trees, on the roof, and upside down. No damage to the body or the blades, so it seems to be a sturdy build/design.
