The soft terry interior is absolutely the most comfortable and flexible I've ever encountered in a mitt. The mitts are flexible enough to not to strain your hands or fingers (no cramping!) and they convey a secure sense of where the edge of a pan is in your hands. The exterior silicone grippy strips are visually subtle yet super-effective. I was able to hold a sheet pan fresh from the broiler for 3 minutes (yup, I timed it) without my hand getting uncomfortably hot. Enough color options to suit most kitchens. And here's a subtle detail I really appreciate: the hanging loop is sewn to the middle of the glove, not along the side seam. That allows the mitts to hang vertically. Best oven mitts I've ever used. Sure hope they stand up to the test of time!

I know with oven mitts it's common to have the one size fits all offer but I think they should make them in small/medium and large - especially considering it's mostly (not all) women who use oven mitts or at least the majority of women use them more than men and most women's hands are small! That said? That's the only thing I wish were different about these mitts. They're a bit big for me (see picture of my other oven mitt) but I feel very safe in them :-) By safe I mean I'm one of those people who burns themselves because I either forget to use a mitt or the mitt doesn't protect me well enough.

Comfy w/ a slightly padded feel, probably almost inpossible to burn yourself with shy a tear or cut (which wouldn't be easy), and they have great grip.After getting my fingertips cooked too many times with Walmart & my local go-to place for kitchen wares :( I decided to hit Amazon and look for my *final* oven mitts.These are those mitts.They're comfy and provide that securing sense of overkill when it comes to handling hot stuff around the oven. Feel ridiculously safe wearing them.
